Was honored to cover the luxury lifestyle magazine, Latino Show. A few weeks ago Team Sonja gathered close friends, business partners, and of course the RHONY crew to not only launch the cover but my new fashion collection, Sonja Morgan New York, as well.
That magazine Latino Show is international. It’s all about luxury and I was thrilled that they chose me for the cover. Along with a ten-page spread that was shot in the Hamptons this Summer, we discussed fashion, building an international lifestyle brand, and single motherhood. The former cover was Miss Universe so I’m very happy about it. Learn about their mission and maybe even sign up for a subscription at their website http://www.latino-show.com
My dear friend, Vanessa Noel at her store Vanessa Noel Couture on 64th and Lex graciously hosted the event. The catering was provided by Aneu Catering & Events (http://www.aneucateringandevents.com).I I wore Sonja Morgan New York from head to toe. You can expect a little of everything from the SMNY collection, diamond jewelry, shoes, ready-to-wear, sportswear, etc.. It is set to launch in Fall 2015 with the capsule collection coming out this summer. Coming from a fashion background, studying marketing at FIT and working in wholesale, it is amazing to see this all come into fruition. I have to thank all my partners involved in SMNY and of course Team Sonja for the endless support in making this all possible. I cannot wait to see what 2015 has to offer!

She received the proclamation from the State of New York which says: "a great state is only as great as those persons who give exemplary service to their community and society, whether through keen business strategies, through unique in their professional or other endeavors or simply through a lifetime of good citizenry."

Ms Morgan is honored as a "business role model, who approached plans conservatively in order to maximize her final value, adds sensibility to her brands and proves time after time that you can achieve great style while still saving time and money." Further citing her Philanthropy it states: " a long-time supporter of the arts, she has been lauded for her philanthropic achievements, dedicated time and money to helping LGBT Youth and sits on many boards and foundations whose efforts vastly improve the lives of New Yorkers every day."

The award cited her personal achievement for her contributions as an innovator and trendsetter in the arts, media and entertainment industries. Sonja was happy to have her dear friends, The Fabulous Beekman Boys - Dr. Brent Ridge and Josh Kilmer-Purcell - who she considers to be achievers of same, present her with the award.

Ms. Morgan threw a Sonja In The City engagement party shorty for Brent and Josh after MENY (Marriage Equality New York) passed. They recently tied the knot in Upstate NY where they film their show, The Fabulous Beekman Boys, which airs on Planet Green. The boys gave a lovely speech about being neighbors in Manhattan with Sonja, their friendship, love of tradition, fabulous escapades, and their memories of cooking together which was very moving to all. Even Phillip Bloch, stylist to John Travolta and Halle Berry, showed up to support his friend Sonja. He and Sonja are fellow crusaders for the cure for HIV/AIDS.

Sonja on the red carpet of the Real Housewives of New York Season Six Premiere
The night was of course a great success and in addition to the entire cast of the New York Housewives with their families, many Bravolebrities were there, including close pal Michael Lorber of Million Dollar Listing New York, Mica Hughes of Blood Sweat and Heels and the lovely Jenni Pulos from Flipping Out. Also Lea Black from Real Housewives of Miami flew up to celebrate with her pal Sonja, and my number one fan Rosie Pierri of The Real Housewives of New Jersey came to support me as well.

Co-Host Ramona's couch was on fire with her usual jet set friends that we have grown to know on camera over the years and a very handsome tall mystery man from Australia who Sonja refused to say more than "I know him from St Tropez through my friend Bobo." Hor d'oeurves were provided by Tokya Sushi Lounge, Baked by Melissa Cupcakes and Formaggio Cheese Company. Signature cocktails were provided by Ramona Singer Wines, Jose Cuervo,Freixenet, American Vodka, Villa Massa Limoncello and Yellow Tail Prosecco. Sonja's world renowned interns came to the bash to sharpen their star spotting, photo snapping, and social media skills and they clearly had a ball and were dressed to the nines.

Sonja, never short on men gave us a quite the show to Miley Cyrus's Wrecking Ball from the DJ booth with the very sexy DJ Alex Cecil who spun to the wee hours. Check this out!
She then treated guests to a sneak preview of the episode 2. Hard to wait, but that's the fun of watching! It's addictive. Tune in Tuesdays at 9 pm EST for more of The straw that stirs the drink and turtle time with the cast of The Real Housewives of New York City. Chic c'est la vie!
